Terms of Service

Our Services

Tread & Wag provides mobile dog fitness, treadmill exercise, enrichment services, and drop-in pet sitting visits designed to support your dog's health, routine, and overall well-being.

Booking & Cancellations

• Appointments must be scheduled in advance
• Drop-in visits and fitness sessions require confirmed time windows
• Please provide at least 24 hours notice for fitness session cancellations, and 72 hours notice for drop-in dog sitting cancellations to avoid penalty fees
• No-call/no-show appointments are billed at the full session rate

Payments

• Payment is due at booking or time of service
• Subscription plans are billed automatically
• Drop-in care may be billed per visit or per day
• Add-ons and bundles must be used during the scheduled session unless otherwise stated

Pup Squad

• A minimum of 4 dogs is required from separate households on the same street to qualify for the group rate
• All participating dogs must meet our health and behavior requirements

Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are billed automatically every 4 weeks
• One 30-day pause is allowed per year
• Cancel with 30 days written notice
• Your subscription and any scheduled recurring services will remain active during the notice period
• No prorated refunds will be provided for the final billing period

Trainer Availability / Prorated Billing

• If Tread & Wag is unavailable due to scheduled travel, subscription billing for that month will be prorated to reflect the dates services are unavailable
• Clients will be notified in advance whenever possible
• If Tread & Wag needs to cancel any sessions due to sickness or emergencies, that session will be rescheduled for a later date

Bundles

• Bundles are non-refundable and non-transferable
• Bundle sessions expire per the schedule listed at time of purchase

Pet Health & Behavior

By booking services, you confirm:

• Your dog is at least 4 months old
• Your dog is healthy and fit for exercise and/or in-home care
• Vaccinations are current and up to date
• Any medical, behavioral, or aggression concerns are disclosed

We reserve the right to refuse or stop services if a dog is unsafe or unfit.

Home Access & Drop-In Visits

For drop-in services or fitness sessions when the homeowner is not available, you agree to:

• Provide safe and accurate home access instructions (key, lockbox, code, etc.)
• Ensure a safe environment for your pet and our staff
• Secure any hazards or aggressive animals

Tread & Wag is not responsible for issues arising from:

• Faulty locks or access issues
• Unsecured pets
• Unsafe home conditions

Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that working with animals involves inherent risks. While we prioritize safety, Tread & Wag is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or incidents unless caused by gross negligence.

Behavior Policy

Dogs displaying aggressive or dangerous behavior may be removed from service at our discretion. No refunds will be issued if services are discontinued for safety reasons.

Property Access

You grant permission for Tread & Wag to enter your property to:

• Pick up and return your dog (fitness services)
• Perform scheduled drop-in visits

Photos & Videos

We may take photos or videos of your dog for updates or marketing. If you prefer not to participate, please notify us in writing.

Changes to Services & Pricing

We may update services, pricing, or policies at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tread & Wag is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to our services.
